Once you have arrived to Upolu Island you will need to travel to Savaii by ferry which takes 1 hr to 1.3hr depending on the vessel.
Ferry services operate daily between Mulifanua Wharf (Upolu) and Salelologa Wharf (Savaii) and are operated by 2 vessels, the Lady Samoa III (the larger of the two) and the Samoa Express.
If you are coming from Faleolo International Airport we reccomend a taxi to Mulifanua Wharf (approx 5 min driving time) from the airport to the wharf. If travelling from Apia town please arrange a taxi or shuttle bus with your hotel to Mulifanua Wharf (approx 50 min drivng time).
The ferry takes from 1 to 1.3 hours depending on the vessel you are on. We do advise where possible to take the larger ferry as the newer ship caters to tourists with facilities such as canteen, air con and public television. Wharf Transfers in Savaii:
Upon your arrival to Savaii, Amoa Resort can arrange hassle free transfers from Salelologawharf to the resort. We can also arrange onward departures transfers for your day of check out.
There are 2 options:
VIP Transfer: $35.00 per person o/way wharf to hotel v.v
Our driver will meet you upon your arrival to Salelologa wharf holding Amoa Resort sign card and transfer you to the resort. For all arrival transfers you will be greeted with welcome drink on arrival to the resort & take home souvenir from Amoa Resort.
You must provide arrival ferry time at time of booking and re-confirm transfer 24 hours prior by calling +685 53518. Cancelled transfers or no shows on day of arrival will incur 100% cancellation penalties
Standard Taxi Van Transfer: SAT $35.00 per vehicle o/way wharf to hotel v.v
Local driver up to 4 persons including 1 pc luggage each.
Surcharge may apply for guests with excess luggage or large equipment.
